secured on both sides by bronze gilt buttons with the Infantry insignia
Germany, Heer. A General’s Cap Eagle Hold 10cm x 16cm(Heer Mtzenadler fr einen General). Constructed of dark green wool, the obverse bearing a Wehrmacht eagle clutching a wreathed mobile swastika, executed in hand embroidered gold bullion wire and golden yellow celleon wire, unmarked, measuring 68 mm (w) x 35 mm (h), demonstrating minor fatigue and wear to both the cloth and wire elements, in uniform removed and very fine condition.
