Arisaema thunbergii ssp urashima Silver Center Persicaria protamericana makes the largest clumpThis is the highly desired silver centered form of the Japanese Arisaema urashima. The upright stalks arise in mid spring and are topped with a horseshoe like leaf. Each leaf has a silver stripe down the center of each leaflet. Since these are seedlings, each clone is different. Along side the leaf, a separated stalk emerges, holding the black purple pitcher and the long, upright whip like spadix. Oooh it hurts sooo good.
